Connect your device to computer, make sure it is open and click the Jailbreak button in Absinthe. Now, wait to Jailbreak.
Step 4:
When Jailbreak finish, the Absinthe icon is installed to your home screen. Touch it, and whait a moment. Now, the Absinthe will close auto and the Absinthe icon is replaced with Cydia!

Download the song you want and convert it to mp3.
Step 3
Add the song to your music folder, and then to iTunes library.
Step 4
Right click the song into iTunes, and hit Get info. Now, select options and set the start and stop time.
Note: The song should keep directly 30 seconds!

Now, right click the song into iTunes, and select "Create AAC version".
Right click the AAC converted song (with 30 seconds time) and select Show in windows explorer.
Step 6
Cut the song from windows explorer, and paste to your iTunes Tones folder (default is C:\Users\<user name>\Music\iTunes\iTunes Media\Tones)
Step 7
After pasting the song to Tones folder, go to Organize and then to Folder and search options.
Now, go to View, and uncheck the "Hide extensions for known file typs" option and press OK.
Step 8
Rename the extension of your song.
The curent extension of your song is m4a. You will rename that to .m4r.
Step 9
Go to iTunes, go to Edit > Preferences and check the Tones option.
Step 10
Copy your song from Tones folder to iTunes Tones library.
Step 11
Connect your device to iTunes and make sure that the option "Sync Tones" in Tones selection in checked.
Now, sync your device and the ringtone is applied to "Sounds" category in Settings app.
First of all backup your iPod Touch 4G or iPod Touch 3G personal data via iTunes before restoring to iOS 5.1.
Step 2
Connect your iPod Touch 4G or iPod Touch 3G to your computer, open iTunes and press the Check for update button to update your device to iOS 5.1.
Step 3
After restoring process has completed; Run RedSn0w; Click Jailbreak; Now make sure your iPod Touch is turned OFF and Plugged in to your computer. Hit Next.

Now follow the on-screen instructions to enter your device in DFU mode.
Hold Down The Power (Corner) button for 3 Seconds
Without releasing the Power button, also hold down the Home (Bottom Center) button for 10 seconds
Without releasing the Home button, release the Power button BUT KEEP holding the Home button for 15 seconds
Step 5
Once your iPod Touch 4G, iPod Touch 3G is in DFU Mode, check “Install Cydia” and hit the next button. RedSn0w will start jailbreaking it, which should be completed within few minutes. That’s it!
Once done, your iPod Touch 4G, iPod Touch 3G will be tethered jailbroken on iOS 5.1 firmware. Now let’s talk hot to tether boot it, because without tether boot, you won’t be able to use the jailbreak features, even Safari browser.

Hit Extras, then Just Boot.
Hit next, follow the on-screen instructions to enter iPod Touch into DFU mode.
This should boot your iPod Touch 4G, iPod Touch 3G into tethered jailbreak mode. Don’t forget to repeat the tether boot process every time you reboot your device.
